Life is much like standing in a hallway with ten doors. You only get to open one, which influences the rest of your life and future decisions. It's easy to make the wrong choices when you don't know what is behind the doors. God knows what lies behind every door - the consequences and reprecussions of every decision we make. When we rely on Him, we don't have to know what is behind every door - we just listen and trust Him to guide us through.
By coming together with other people to pray for your life, your struggles, and your opportunities, we are united in asking God for that direction. Sometimes, it's harder to pray than to ask another person to pray for you. That's what we are here for.

I am hoping my prayer will be heard. I have tried and tried to believe and have faith, but it has never been easy. But I am begging and paying that somehow my ex wife Carol will come come back to me soon, and that I will be forgiven for all the mistakes that I may have made, said and done will be forgiven, that I will have overcome my depression, and that I can find a way past all that has transpired in the time apart. I love her and miss her with all that I am, I have felt nothing but pain and remorse and regret and hopelessness since we have been apart. I want only this from life. I have to believe this has all been for a reason, for something other than for me to grow old alone and die alone, the last however many years to be nothing but daily torment.
